Kyle Robbins began his racing career where many others have, behind the wheel of a quarter midget. Kyle spent his formative racing years at the world famous Mini-Indy Speedway where he picked up several feature wins.
After 5 years in quarter midgets Kyle moved to the USAC focus division. Spending the next two years gaining experience around Indiana in USAC's entry level spec series division, Kyle picked up one feature win as well as several top five finishes.
2006 began Kyle's biggest move up the racing ladder as the family team put together a non-wing 410 sprint car to compete on some of the toughest venues in all of motorsports. While 2006 was a learning year for the family team Kyle was able to nail down several top tens as well as a top 5 to cap off his rookie season.
2007 would be Kyle's most ambitious season to date, as he would make Gas City Speedway home and compete in fifty events throughout the race season. Kyle Finished in the top ten fourteen times highlighted by a top ten at Gas City's USAC Indiana Sprint Week event. 2007 concluded with Kyle finishing seventh in Gas City Speedway points as well as several top 5 finishes to close out the season.
The 2008 season will see Kyle take on the Indiana race scene behind the wheel of the family owned JEI 17r.
